The Center for Resilient Communities (CRC) was established in 2014 to address the social, economic and environmental issues that affect the resilience of communities in Idaho and the Western United States through the co-production of knowledge based on collaborative interdisciplinary research, and the development and application of social-ecological systems science.
The Institute for Modeling Collaboration and Innovation (IMCI) is a multidisciplinary, collaborative research program housed at the University of Idaho and funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). We strive to create an intellectual, cultural, and physical environment that fosters synergy for biomedical research. We see ourselves as the epicenter of all research involving modeling at the university.
Modeling Idaho Health is an evaluation and research team housed within the Institute for Modeling Collaboration and Innovation (IMCI) at the University of Idaho. Our work utilizes the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) Behavioral Risk Factors Surveillance System (BRFSS) data findings to generate Idaho adult health and health behavior measures at a county level.
